POETRY | LIFE LESSONS Rumination, rumination, it’s not just for the cow.
It is the thought and thought and thought again,
And then how? A mind that turns, turns not unlike a wheel,
A thought rethought, is it more real? Chewing and musing, the pasture of the mind,
Revisiting, revisiting, what do we find? Patterns in patterns, repeated anew,
The same but different, both false and true. Is it about the past, the future or the now?
Rumination, rumination, and still we wonder how.
